Tuesday 1 December 2020, from 10:00 AM to 12.30 PM
The United Kingdom's Withdrawal Agreement from the European Union entered into force on 1 February 2020 and provides a transition phase up to 31 December 2020. During this period, the UK continues to be part of the single market and customs union while negotiations are taking place to reach an agreement on future relations. Regardless of the possibility for an agreement to occur between the UK and the EU, from 1 January 2021 companies will have to overcome many challenges in their commercial relationships with the UK as it will effectively no longer be part of the single market and they will not be able to rely on the free movement of persons, goods and services.
To take stock of the situation on the new customs rules, on the management of ongoing contracts and on how to approach the British market by SMEs that want to start operating in the UK, the Chamber of Commerce of Verona has organized a webinar, which will take place on 1 December 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM via the Google Meet platform.
As part of this initiative, Santosuosso Law Firm will moderate this event and will present a report on how to manage ongoing contracts and how to first approach this market (agency and sale contracts, credit protection in the UK and on the tasks for SMEs to fulfill in order to start operating in the British market)
Subscribers will receive a link via e-mail (at the e-mail address used for registration). To connect to the webinar, we strongly suggest using Chrome browser.
